First show of the year

After a long summer break (or winter depending on which hemisphere you've been in), I'll be playing my first show of the year tonight at the cosy World's End in Finsbury Park. Entry is free and the brilliant Mehmet Raif will be joining me on bass guitar. Do drop in if you're in the neighbourhood!

Rhys at the Camden Rock with the SimplistsIt's been a massive year for us, our first on the London scene, so a huge thanks to everyone who has shown their support. Our last London show for 2009 was on Thursday the 26th at the Camden Rock (see the photos) where we officially welcomed the brilliant Rhys Antony Owen to the line-up on saxophone. Thanks to all who made it down, and we'll see you all again in the new year!

Dusk - The Fragile Escape Butterflies EP In the lead up to the release of the second Simplists EP, you can now grab a free download of my previous release The Fragile Escape / Butterflies EP which came out in 2006 when I was part of the roots band Dusk. In addition to the original 5 tracks, there is also an internet only version of Slave played live on RTRFM in Perth on Sunday 4th June 2006. Enjoy!
